What is the Ambassador Program?
ICTC’s Ambassador Program aims to support women in leadership positions and promote gender equity within the digital economy. The Ambassador Program provides employers with key tools to support women in their organization. The program, specifically tailored to the challenges faced by women in tech roles in Canada’s digital economy, will help guide your organization implement processes to support, attract, and retain women in your organization.
The Ambassador Program is funded by the Government of Canada.
About the Speaker:
Jordyn Samuels (she/her) is an activist and educator from Toronto, specializing in Equity, Anti-Oppression, Anti-Racism and 2SLGBTQ+ education for over 16 years. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from University of Toronto, double-majoring in Equity Studies and Sexual Diversity Studies. Jordyn has previously worked with organizations such as Lumenus Community Services, Sherbourne Health, Youth Advocacy Training Institute and Centre for Women and Trans People at University of Toronto. Jordyn is currently the Owner and Lead Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Consultant of her consulting service, Journeys InEquity. Journeys InEquity specializes in expanding Human Rights, Anti-Racism and 2SLGBTQ+ support throughout communities and organizations.
