In this session, we will lay the foundation for inclusive L&D by discussing what inclusive L&D is and why it is important.

We will define and clarify core concepts such as diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, intersectionality, reflexivity, and the difference between equity and equality.

About the host:

Ingeborg Kroese, EdD, MSc designs and delivers world-class L&D programs. In addition, she conducts academic research and publishes her findings on the diversity, equity, inclusiveness and accessibility (DEIA) of L&D programs. Through Enhance Facilitation she works with learning professionals and their clients to ensure learning programs are equitable and inclusive. Ingeborg worked 15 years in corporate settings—in sales, management, and leadership positions, and since 2006 in L&D, globally. She lived and worked in The Netherlands, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Austria. She brings business wisdom into her work as well as extensive research on Inclusive L&D.
