According to the FBI, American consumers and businesses lost $12.5 billion to internet crimes in 2023, a 22% increase from 2022.
During a 50 minute workshop, you'll receive advice directly from FBI agents who will discuss real-time cyber threat intelligence, including practical guidance on responding to cybersecurity incidents, and provide available local and regional FBI resources.

The Summit underscores the commitment to protecting Filipino American individuals and businesses from the escalating threat of cybercrime. FBI Supervisor Special Agent Thomas Wei will present crucial insights and preventative measures. Ben Menor, SFFACC Board Member, Parliamentarian, and Special Assistant to the FPACC President, will chair the summit. Menor's extensive experience with the FBI and community advocacy makes him a key representative dealing with hate and cybercrimes. Joining Menor in the Cyber Crime Summit Committee are SFFACC officers, President Aaron Orcino, Vice President Shan Serran, and Secretary Lorna Dietz. For FPACC, the committee is represented by FPACC President Marie Cunning, FPACC Executive Vice President Richard Felicelda, FPACC Legal Counsel Aurora Abella-Austriaco, and FPACC Executive Director Brad Baldia.
