African Regenerative Futures Summit | Vol 002 | Nov 16 - 19 2023
In a world where the need for sustainable progress is paramount, the African Regenerative Futures Summit | Volume 002 (Nov 16 - 19 2023) will converge innovators, thought leaders, and change makers from diverse fields in one location – the beautiful island of Zanzibar in East Africa.
The summit marks the second in a series focused on bringing like-minded actors together on the African continent to plan for a more sustainable and equitable tomorrow. In July, the African Regenerative Cities Summit launched the series, during which more than 50 change-makers gathered and Zanzibar’s President Dr. Hussein Mwinyi announced the OurWorld Digital Free Zone in collaboration with the ThreeFold team.
With a holistic focus on regenerative solutions encompassing technology, agriculture, governance, health, education, and more, we aim to foster conversation and collaboration that will lead to tangible, positive changes for both people and our precious planet. This gathering is not just an assembly of minds, it’s a catalyst for action. Together, we will explore, innovate, and strategize to forge a path towards a more sustainable and regenerative future.
While the summit is being run by the ThreeFold / OurWorld teams in collaboration with the Zanzibar Information Communication Technology Infrastructure Agency (ZICTIA) and Hub Culture, it is open to contributions to speak, lead workshops, and more.
