INTRODUCTION
Spawned by Zuzalu, a pop-up city by Vitalik Buterin in Montenegro, the crypto/web3 community, venture capitalists & technologists and city builders, this event aims to bring together current future leaders that aim to make Africa a hub for technology, innovation and regeneration.
The event is organised and hosted by the ThreeFold Foundation, the promoter of a digital free zone called "OurWorld" in Zanzibar, along with their government partner ZICTIA, and in cooperation with Infinita VC, Fumba Town ("Silicon Zanzibar") and the Charter Cities Institute.
This is a 4-day event, with the opportunity to prolong stays for builders, artists and innovators who want to help OurWorld thrive.
The 4-day event will feature speakers and unconference-style workshops on the a following topics (examples):
The future of city development on the African continent, incl. special economic zones and charter cities
Technological innovation & development (e.g. clean energy, internet & communication infrastructure, crypto/finance)
The event is open to contributions to speak, lead workshops, pitch competition - you will have opportunities to speak!
