🎤 How to Over-Engineer Automatic Board Game Scoring with Computer Vision (Jordi Smit, Machine Learning Engineer @ Xebia)
I love playing the board game Cascadia, but the score calculations at the end always is to much effort for me. So, I decided to automate it using computer vision. Will the 60 seconds saved during each game one day overtake the many engineering hours? Most likely not bit the final application is very cool. During this talk, I will share my journey of building this computer vision application and the many valuable lessons and best practices I learned along the way.
