THINC-NICE Learning Series: Monitoring Implementation – How do we know what’s working?
Background
The Network for Integrated Care Excellence (NICE) is a knowledge mobilization and impact hub for CIHR’s Transforming Health with Integrated Care (THINC) initiative. We connect 13 Implementation Science Teams across Canada, bringing together researchers, decision makers, knowledge users, and people with lived experience to foster collaboration, build capacity, amplify impact, and lead knowledge sharing nationally.
Workshop Overview
One of the most challenging questions in implementation science is deceptively simple: "How do we know what we are doing is working?"
In this interactive 90-minute session, delivered in partnership with The Center for Implementation, you'll gain practical insights and tools for effectively monitoring and evaluating your implementation efforts.
In this workshop, we will explore:
Practical approaches to implementation monitoring that fit your project context
Methods for collecting meaningful data without overwhelming your team or stakeholders
Strategies for using monitoring data to make timely adjustments to implementation plans
Selecting informative indicators for monitoring implementation
Who Should Attend
These sessions are designed for all members of THINC Implementation Science Teams, including:
Researchers and academic partners
Project staff and coordinators
People with lived experience
Healthcare decision makers
Knowledge users and system partners
Materials
All participants will receive a PDF handout containing key concepts and additional resources to support your implementation journey. The webinar will also be recorded and made available for viewing.
