Our upcoming Decentralized Science Meetup, will take place at Full Node in Berlin. This event is designed to bring together a community of individuals who are passionate about decentralized science and its potential to revolutionize the world of scientific research. This event will repeat roughly every two months. You can either register for the single event, or the entire series.

Our audience ranges from longevity & healthspan to women's health, SynBio and Cryopreservation enthusiasts.

The goal of the meetup is to create a space for people to collaborate and explore the potential of decentralized science to democratize access to scientific research and accelerate innovation.

We hope that this event will inspire new collaborations and innovative ideas, and we look forward to seeing you there!

DeSci, an emerging facet of Web3, centers on open-sourcing funding for scientific research and development. This approach safeguards researchers’ independence as they pursue scientific endeavors.

DeSci Dinner @Taipei Blockchain Week

 and Funding the Commons join forces to host their next editions during 

, set to unfold in the city's vibrant tech landscape on 8-9 September.

​On the 8th, DeSci.Berlin takes the main stage, with insightful talks by key players in the field. Topic specific workshops and side-discussions will also be held in a dedicated space (the DeSci.Berlin Stage) on the same day and continued on the 9th of September. Attendees will delve into the complexities of decentralized science, from innovative research funding avenues to the conceptualization of biotech DAOs

On the 9th, Funding the Commons takes the main stage, and will feature a unique emphasis on builders and interactive programming. In contrast to the storied academia of its Paris event, Berlin FTC will celebrate the hands-on spirit of creation and innovation. Likewise, the FTC Stage will run across both days, alongside the main stage, with insightful workshops and topic focused discussions.

This combined event will ignite the development of new partnerships, projects, and initiatives with each day providing a distinct platform to engage with the wider blockchain and decentralized science communities.

Join us on Tuesday, August 22nd at 6 PM CET for a special community call with Dr. Viktor Korolchuk from Newcastle University. 

This call will provide a progress update on the Korolchuk Lab's research, an innovative approach to identifying compounds that rejuvenate aged cells through autophagy activation.

Funded by VitaDAO and powered by VITA-FAST Intellectual Property Tokens (IPTs), the success of this research could lead to identification and development of effective autophagy activators which could reduce the societal and economic burden of age-related and neurodegenerative diseases, potentially lowering healthcare costs and improving the quality of life for many.
