The Texas Venture Fest is a celebration of the vibrant startup ecosystem across Texas. In a single day, more than 10 cities will simultaneously host events, making this a record-breaking moment for the U.S. and a proud milestone for Texas.
Mexico City Edition:
This exciting new event, co-hosted by the Texas Association of Business (TAB) and the newly established Texas Scale-Up Coalition, will take place in Mexico City. We are excited to bring together a binational group of VC's, founders, and the broader business community all with the common goal of empowering start-ups to scale-up for the benefit of both economies. The event is part of a week-long delegation led by TAB focused on strengthening binational business, industry, and government collaboration.
About the Hosts:
The Texas Association of Business (TAB) is the Texas State Chamber of Commerce and the state affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers. TAB represents over 1,500 companies of all sizes and industries, and more than 200 local chambers. As a bipartisan organization, TAB is dedicated to protecting Texas' pro-business climate and addressing challenges faced by employers. The Texas Scale-Up Coalition is a strategic partnership between the Texas Association of Business (TAB) and the Texas Venture Alliance, designed to foster collaboration and innovation among startups, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists from Texas and around the world. Inspired by the dynamic "Start-Up Nation," / Israel, and Texas’ reputation as the best place to do business, this coalition seeks to strengthen economic ties, share innovative ideas, and create a thriving ecosystem where businesses across the globe can "scale up" in Texas.
History of the Fest:
The Texas Venture Fest began in 2022 with a few venture capital firms across multiple venues, attracting over 1,000 attendees in downtown Austin. In 2023, it expanded to 10 cities, 16 venues, 40+ venture panelists, and nearly 3,000 participants. Learn more about the event’s growth and impact [here].
