About ReFi Lisboa
ReFi Lisboa is gathering the brightest hearts and minds into the work of regeneration at the center of a top European web3 city: Lisbon. We are gathering 150+ leaders and a number of physical spaces to create a decentralized village in Lisbon under a single unified mission:
To regenerate the earth using the most powerful tools of our time.
Balancing the power of tech with conscious awareness, we are building a physical network of regenerative leaders and spaces across the city. We’re building partnerships with public, private, and third-sector institutions as well as environmental, ecological, social, and cultural thought leaders.
We see ourselves as an embedded accelerant to the regenerative economy—enabling existing institutions to harness the power of regeneration and realize a prosperous future for all…
About AD-Tech
AD-Tech is an organization that leverages data, technology, and regenerative principles to achieve social and environmental impact at scale. They utilize concepts of lean business and impact development to create strategies and frameworks for regenerative projects that reverse climate change and create healthy ecosystems and abundance.
A regenerative guide to Lisbon 📖
The end outcome of this workshop is to produce a "Lisboa Regenerativa" guide that will enable locals and tourists to connect with regenerative businesses, practitioners, and service providers throughout the city. This guide will initially be available as a web application and later as a physical guide sold by regenerative shops across Lisbon.
Web app & book 📱 📔
We are planning to build a web application that will attract conscious Lisboetas and tourists into the regenerative locations throughout the city and to position Lisbon as a central hub for the emerging regenerative economy.
There will be a number of rooms focused on mapping different areas so no matter whether you're from social, environmental, ecological, economic or technological regeneration—you are welcome to contribute your knowledge and shape the initial regenerative map of Lisbon!
A knowledge graph of regeneration
The workshop will invite local public, private, and third-sector institutions to participate in the mapping exercise. Together, we will shape a knowledge graph of local regeneration as an open public database for the city of Lisbon. It will begin as an online guide, but eventually end up as a physical book sold in regenerative businesses throughout the city—providing an additional revenue stream to local businesses.
Inspired by the work of Compendia in Cambridge and Norwich, we're looking to shape a model that can scale to other cities and attract local talent and capital into regeneration.
This collaborative effort will empower individuals and organizations to engage with regenerative initiatives and foster the development of a thriving regenerative economy in the region.
