Work in Operations or Strategy? Want to increase your climate impact?

JOIN HERE

You know why embedding climate action into your work and your office is important... but how can it be done? In this interactive session, you'll hear from 4 professionals with roles just like yours who have either made the move to join a new company or are working hard within their current organisation to effect change.

We'll cover:

  • The day to day - what does 'taking climate action at work' actually look like for them? What does their company actually do?

  • Tips and tricks for finding peers, and a new role, working on climate.

  • Opportunities to make a difference that are unique to operations and strategy processionals.

  • Their path, and what they've learnt along the way.

  • ...and any of your burning questions!

Meet your speakers:

  • Hayley Leung - Co-founder, Openstead (Moderator)

    • Hayley is a Terra.do alumni and Co-Founder at openstead, an urban tech start-up focused on unlocking capital to scale climate adaptation solutions and foster resilient cities. Her background is rooted in establishing operational excellence in dynamic, product-led environments. Prior to her transition into the climate sector, she was Director at a FinTech start-up, where she had the privilege of launching and leading a global business unit, and driving the overall company's growth into the 300-employee-strong entity it is today. Her weekends are usually spent being upside down one way or another, as acrobatics/aerial arts is a serious hobby of hers.

  • Siffrein Diana - Chief of Staff at London Interdisciplinary School

    • Siffrein is currently the Chief of Staff at the London Interdisciplinary School (LIS), the first new university to be founded in the UK with degree awarding powers since Warwick University in 1965. Prior to joining LIS, he held a range of operations and strategy roles at climate platform Terra.do, founder community On Deck, startup accelerator Entrepreneur First, and the e-bikes team at Uber (now Lime). Siffrein studied social sciences at Sciences Po Paris and Princeton University, and management at London Business School and Shanghai’s Fudan University.

  • Hannah Rudolph - Operations Lead at Thermulon

    • Hannah is the Operations Lead at Thermulon. With experience in business analysis and operations across a diverse portfolio of companies—including start-ups in ag-tech, med-tech, and tourism — Hannah drives efficiency and fosters continuous improvement. She is dedicated to cultivating a collaborative environment that supports innovation and growth across all functions.

  • Josh Attwell - Founders Associate at Sightline

    • Josh worked in a series of early-stage impact-driven startups and founded a community for aspiring founders in London, before making the decision to focus on Climate tech. He currently works as the Founder's Associate at Sightline Climate where he's the company 'Swiss Army Knife', taking on responsibilities wherever there's a need. This has involved anything from launching a 400-person event at New York Climate Week, to taking on finance and people ops, to becoming a sector expert on carbon capture and storage.

This will be an interactive session, with 30 minutes of panel discussion and 20 minutes of breakout room Q&A with each of the speakers. Please think of questions in advance!

Every job is a climate job, whether you work for a climate startup / organisation or not. This session is for both job seekers and those taking action via their current role.
