Meet your speakers:
Douglas Greenwell (Moderator) - Chief Commercial Officer at Abatable
Douglas has considerable experience working with data and software vendors in financial markets such as Reuters, Dow Jones and American Express. In the last two years he has focused on taking action on the climate crisis by supporting various climate tech start-ups in key revenue roles.
Antonia Nicholls - Business Development Representative at Opna
Antonia started her career as a researcher in health policy but as an avid scuba and freediver and witnessing the decline of marine ecosystems, she decided to make the jump to climate tech. She has worked at an early stage climate tech company focused on natural capital and currently works in business development at Opna and co-hosts a ocean entrepreneurship podcast on the side.
Eleonore Lazat - Commercial Director at Granular Energy
Eleonore Lazat is Commercial Director at Granular Energy, a company paving the way to 24/7 carbon-free electricity through software and tools for renewable energy management. Previously she spent time at Energy Impact Partners, a clean tech VC fund, and BloombergNEF, a research and market analysis provider
Alex O'Connor - Growth Lead at BlueLayer
Alex O'Connor leads Go-To-Market (GTM) at BlueLayer and a Venture Scout at Satgana. BlueLayer is a vertical SaaS software platform for companies that issue and sell carbon credits through developing and running projects across carbon removal or reduction activities. At BlueLayer Alex works across Sales, Product, Partnerships and Marketing. Before BlueLayer, Alex was a Visiting Analyst at AENU and held positions at climate-tech start-ups like Dovetail & Kleiderly. He has a BSc Mathematics & Economics from LSE.

This will be an interactive session, with 30 minutes of panel discussion and 20 minutes of breakout room Q&A with each of the speakers. Please think of questions in advance!
Every job is a climate job, whether you work for a climate startup / organisation or not. This session is for both job seekers and those taking action via their current role.
