Soapbox cleans up the Fremont neighborhood
We're joining a summer cleanup with Puget Soundkeeper! Puget Soundkeeper advocates for clean waterways and healthy watersheds. Let's get outside enjoy the sunshine and pick up trash around the Fremont neighborhood near the canal.
Soapbox Project is a third place, hosting events every Tuesday for climate solutions and community building. But we also want to get together and do things outside of Tuesdays. We'll connect with the neighborhood while improving outdoor spaces like Fremont Canal Park.
Who: All ages and skill levels are welcome!
What: Picking up trash!
Where: Fremont Canal Park
When: 10:00 AM
Why: When you love something, you take care of it. This is a way we can give back to one of the Seattle neighborhoods we love and ensure that our trash doesn't affect the Puget Sound that we love.
Bring: All supplies and snacks will be provided. But you may want to wear comfy clothing and to dress for the weather.
Lastly, you'll need to register through the Puget Soundkeepers' online form to be officially signed up for the event. Do that here:
