About Event

Like blossoms carried on a spring breeze, Spring Serenade drifts in with melodies full of warmth, wonder, and renewal. Performed by the Stanford Guzheng Ensemble and Baipu Chinese Music Ensemble under the direction of world-renowned musician Prof. Hui You, this enchanting concert invites you to experience the season’s beauty through the expressive voices of traditional Chinese instruments. From the sweeping vistas of Spring Morning in the Snow Mountains to the quiet transformation of Frost to Flourish, each piece captures a moment of emotion, memory, and light.

The program flows through beloved folk songs, contemporary gems, and classical treasures—including the moonlit calm of Moonlight on Spring River, the fierce tenderness of Jiu-er, and the joyful energy of Dance of the Golden Snake. Bridging cultures, stories, and time, Spring Serenade offers an evening of musical poetry that will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired, and carried by the spirit of spring.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly recommend planning your visit in advance to ensure a comfortable experience. For the best experience, we recommend this concert for ages 5 and up.
