We'll have a quick 20 minute exploration of the open-source messaging app Signal with members from the SudoRoom hackerspace in North Oakland and beyond!

Last week we explored the iOS app, this week we'll explore the desktop app which works across linux, Windows and Mac platforms.

This is a simple exploration meetup, and also a nice way to appreciate the Signal Messenger app, open source, and learn a little more about cryptography and software architecture.

Supporting Open Source

We'll also discuss ways to support the work of open source projects like Signal, whether it's through donations or... stuff that helps create more donations!
