What to Expect and What to Bring:
Are you ready to engage in a physical yoga practice and also learn some of the philosophy behind the transformative power of a yogic lifestyle? In this class the instructor will introduce a small bit of yogic philosophy to structure our 1-hour yoga practice and inspire individual intention-setting for our practice. Afterward, we will dive a bit deeper into the day’s concept and what wise, enlightened yoga practitioners have discovered over time and then engage in quiet, individual reflection on who we are, what our life purpose (dharma) is, and how we are living our yoga on & off the mat. Finally, we will end with an optional sharing time - when individuals can participate as much or little as they’d like - to bring the ancient yogic teachings into a contemporary and personalized context to help solidify both our understanding of them and our ability to apply them to living our best lives.
Aha moments are virtually guaranteed each week, with the ‘homework’ of applying your new realizations to your dharma, ultimately helping to make the world a better place.
You will float away on a cloud of bliss after this vinyasa yoga practice tailored to every person in the room. Yoga is for every body and many options will be offered to make the practice your own. Everyone should approach our practice with a beginner’s mind and a desire to grow. You will be amazed by what you learn on the mat about yourself and your personal journey. Wear comfy clothes, avoid eating right before class, and bring a yoga mat if you have one.
