Intro to DeFi Night

​UBCFA and UBC Blockchain welcome you to the second annual Intro to crypto night! This year, with a special focus on Decentralized Finance, also known as DeFi. Join us and our panel of DeFi experts as we break down the basics of DeFi, discuss its potential use cases, and open up the floor for any questions that audience members may have!

​Speakers:

​Bryan Pellegrino: CEO and Co-founder of LayerZero, an interoperability protocol which makes it easier for different blockchain networks to connect with each other, and also one of the only tech unicorn start-ups in Vancouver.

​Julian: A Strategic Advisor at Kujira, an innovative decentralized finance application on the Cosmos blockchain that creates tools to give investors affordable and easy-to-use DeFi investment tools.

​There will be food and drinks provided at the end of the event, along with an opportunity to network amongst other like-minded students, and industry professionals!
