The world of fund and startup investing can feel new to many and we'll break down some of the common things to think through when evaluating deals, fund managers, and more.
The event is co-hosted by Ben Eidelson and Anay Shah, the founding partners of Stepchange Ventures, which they launched in early 2024 as a Seattle and LA-based climate tech fund.
Ben is a two-time exited founder and product leader, having led teams at Stripe and Google post-acquisition. He has been angel investing since 2013, backing over 30 startups and investing in 5 venture funds.
Anay is a seasoned operator with deep experience in emerging markets, fintech, and climate. He was early at Remitly, leading international expansion pre-IPO before helping scale another global fintech, Tala, to over $80M in revenue. Based in LA, he is also on the board of the global climate justice NGO The Sunrise Project.
