Gratitude Gathering for Luma, an Old Growth Cedar in Seattle
Join us for our next Gratitude Gathering to honor and give thanks to another of Seattle's original old growth Conifers, slated to be cut down by a developer but that the community is fighting to SAVE.
Our July 12 Gratitude Gathering for One of Seattle's Oldest Cedars was a huge success, attracting over 90 people and garnering coverage in The Seattle Times. Thank you to everyone for making it out!
Our gratitude is gaining momentum, and there will be more trees to celebrate and recognize as they're targeted by developers like Bellevue-based Legacy Capital.

We hope the accelerating losses of these hundred-year trees will spur the community to advocate for all our canopy, especially these majestic conifers that are Seattle's heritage. We can build new homes with our trees, and with climate change looming, we must.
Please join us and if you can bring roses and petals to create a mandala honoring this tree.
