​About Dr. Mike Town: Mike is a physical scientist and educator with expertise in radiative transfer, surface energy budgets, and the cryosphere. He has extensive climate science experience working in remote field observations as well as models of intermediate complexity. He also has over ten years working in secondary education and doing service in diverse communities with multiple stakeholders.
