โ๏ธ๐ฆ๐บ Chess Hackathon: Train AI Chess Bots on GPUs
โSpend a weekend training AI Chess bots on GPUs in Sydney or SF.
โโMega Chess Hackathon Overview:
โGet hands-on with rapid neural network training using Strong Computeโs Instant SuperComputer (ISC) in our Mega Chess Hackathon!
โCompete over two days to build the best chess-playing AI with access to 48 GPU clusters and explore models, datasets, and hyperparameters.
โDetails:
โPrize: $10k-$100k compute grant for open-source AI research.
โChallenge: Train a deep neural network to evaluate chess moves based on game history and board states.
โResources: StockFish-evaluated board states, historic game PGNs, and code examples.
โCompute: Dedicated GPU access via the ISC platform.
โJudging: Tournament-style model face-off.
โAccepted participants will get the full task, dataset, and model specifics a week before. Register today to get a head start!
โParticipant Requirements:
โExperience with PyTorch and cluster training is preferred but not mandatory.
โSkills in large-scale clusters (64+ GPUs) are highly valued.
โTeams of 1 to 3 members are allowed. Include your team membersโ names when registering. Approved participants will receive a link to our Discord competition channel.
