can we create a sustainable city in 1 year? (ft. Seattle Arts & Culture, dinner included)
join us for a joyful community gathering with dinner provided by Chef D from Art of the Table!
Students, frontline friends, etc. go here to request a reparative (free/low-cost) ticket!
FIFA World Cup is coming to Seattle in 2026, only a year from now.
The city is already being transformed through arts, culture, advocacy, and more. All eyes are on Downtown Seattle. This is a huge opportunity to push our agenda of... clean air, drinkable water, and a planet we can live in ;)
How can everyday Seattleites stay educated on sports and sustainability so we can shape the city we want to live in ahead of this major event?
Whether you care about transit, libraries, heat resilience, circular fashion, or more, the upcoming World Cup WILL affect you if you live in Seattle.
Come hear from Kate Fernandez from the City of Seattle Arts & Culture, who will talk about the theme We Still Dream a Future, and how we can contribute to place-based efforts.
The plan
6-6:30 pm | arrive, eat dinner, chit chat
6:30-7 pm | affinity activity on sports, pop culture, & sustainability
7-7:30 pm | Q&A with Kate Fernandez who leads the Hope Corps program
7:30-9:00 pm | peer learning discussions on psychology, circularity, consumerism, technology, and narrative change
