PNW Battery Collaborative February 13 Meetup: Stationary Storage
Event Details:
This edition of the PNW Battery Collaborative meetups will be focused on stationary storage.
We'll first hear from Rick (Eric) Luebbe, the CEO of Group14, about his Washington-based company's construction of what is anticipated to become the world’s largest manufacturing facility for advanced silicon battery materials. Then we'll hear a short presentation by Lawrence Cayton (Engineering Manager at Apple) about how batteries are currently used on the grid. We'll then jump into an expert panel discussion with Sam Shugart (Climate Risk Researcher) and Markus Virta (Co-founder and Managing Partner at Cascadia Renewables) moderated by PNW Battery Collaborative founder Grayson Shor.
Have questions you'd like to ask the speakers? We'll have a Q&A session. Want to meet fellow stationary storage enthusiasts? We'll have time before and after the presentations/panel for informal chats. Looking for a battery job/employee or want to share an announcement with the PNW Battery Collaborative community? We'll have a physical jobs board at the venue and time for announcements to the group.
Presentations will begin promptly at 6pm, please arrive between 5:30pm-6pm. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Grayson Shor via LinkedIn.
