Le Salon de Possibilité: Lead with Your Story
In our final session of Le Salon de Possibilité, we’re looking at stories — more specifically, yours. Our guest expert Christina Blacken, expert storyteller and founder of The New Quo, will help you to uncover your story of difference — the unique wisdom, skills, and insights you've gained from your personal and cultural experiences. Every person has the ability to lead and inspire others through their story of difference.

About Our Featured Guest
Christina Blacken is a public speaker, performer, and founder of The New Quo, a leadership development and behavior change training company. She creates transformational learning experiences and services that redefine community and culture within corporations, non-profits, and universities. As an expert in story as a tool for behavior change, she helps leaders develop new communication practices and habits to better navigate change and differences.
She also runs The New Quo Learning Community, a bi-weekly newsletter and monthly mastermind providing ethical and cultural knowledge of under-told history, media and news analysis, original prose, and reviews of social justice books targeted by bans that helps people improve their multicultural leadership and communication skills and achieve meaningful goals that matter. She’s trained 17,000 leaders across 9 industries using her unique The New Quo Change Model, which uses neuroscience, equity principles, and narrative intelligence, to help people overcome bias, deepen trust in their relationships, and achieve equitable, status-quo breaking goals, and has been been featured in the NY Times, Forbes, Business Insider, and Nasdaq.com among other outlets. As a Utah native and resident of NYC for the past 15 years, she knows far more uses for jello than she’d like to admit.
The New Quo Learning Community provides weekly ethical and cultural wisdom on four key topics: under-told history, media and news analysis, original prose and poetry, and social justice book reviews targeted by bans. It's more than a book club — it's a weekly newsletter and monthly mastermind learning journey informed by neuroscience, overlooked history, psychology, and a bit of elbow grease to help mission-driven individuals find clarity and confidence to lead change, build deeper multicultural relationships, and use new strategies to achieve socially-conscious goals.
