About Event

Renaissance Philanthropy invites you to the launch of the Higgs Community – a home for those who are committed to turning ambitious science into real-world impact.

Join us in London on Wednesday 14th May for an evening of good food, conversation, and meaningful connections.

We’ll kick off with a Fireside Chat featuring:

  • Anastasia Gamick (Co-Founder and President of Convergent Research)

  • Gabi Heller (Co-founder and CEO of Bind Research, the UK’s first not-for-profit Focused Research Organisation)

  • Brian Wang (Programme Director at ARIA)

They’ll explore the importance of scientific translation and the varied pathways scientists can take to bring bold ideas into the world.

You'll meet fellow scientists, researchers, and innovators working at the frontier of high-risk, high-reward science and pushing the boundaries of knowledge across disciplines to drive real-world impact.

Agenda:

  • 5:30 – 6:00 PM – Guest arrival and networking

  • 6:00 – 6:45 PM – Fireside chat, followed by Q&A

  • 6:45 – 9:30 PM – Drinks and networking
