About the Speakers
🎤 Prof. Dr. Philipp Hacker, LL.M. (Yale)
Chair for Law and Ethics of the Digital Society at the European New School of Digital Studies (ENS), Prof. Hacker is a leading expert on AI governance. He serves as a member of the Task Force AI Governance for the German Government, has advised the European Parliament on AI liability, and is currently co-chairing a working group advising the rapporteur of the AI Liability File. His research spans AI, law, and technology, focusing on explainability, fairness, and regulatory compliance.
🎤 Dr. Rasmus Rothe
Co-founder and General Partner at Merantix Capital, Dr. Rothe is a leading AI entrepreneur and deep learning researcher. As co-initiator of the AI Campus Berlin and a founding board member of the German Association of AI, he has been instrumental in shaping Germany's AI strategy. With a background in AI research at Oxford, Princeton, and ETH Zurich, he has published extensively on deep learning and built AI-driven solutions at scale.
