Promptandcode: Vibe Coding Workshop with AI
You probably heard about 'vibe coding' which means you can prompt an AI tool like ChatGPT, Replit, Copilot Claude to generate an application.
You might have even get your hands dirty by trying out a few of those tools to build your own app ideas.
Come to 'Prompt & Code with v0' edition to learn step by step with building full-stack web application from scratch.
Since I started my journey with vibe coding, I have built a couple of apps such as Writely - a AI-assisted writing tool for kid, landing page for our own promptandcode workshop.
Who is this session designed for?
This session is meant for anyone who either have a tech or non-tech background. You can be an operations specialist, marketing manager or a data scientist.
You have been using at least an AI tool for the past 6 months. You have a desire to build an app with AI to realise your own dream.
What we will be covering?
We will cover one of the most popular vibe coding tools - v0.dev.
We will share with you some of the pre-req exercises to get familiar with vibe coding and v0 before the workshop starts
Agenda
9:30 AM: Start the registration with coffee to energize yourself up.
10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Demo project Writely sharing with v0 prompting tips, and integrations (Mailerlite for sending sequence emails, Tally for form filing, Google SSO for authentication)
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: You work on your own idea based on what you learned.
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Basic intro about software architecture: frontend, backend, database, auth etc
12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Lunch
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Continue build on your own idea
1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Share what you built with fellow participants.
2:00 PM: Wrap up and reflect on what we learn.

Who is the instructor?
