Pole Dance for a Cause! FUNdraiser for American Cancer Society

​When I was little, my mom was convinced my overall lack of grace and athleticism was a state of mind. In her desperate attempt to find me something (anything!!) to be good at, she enrolled me in soccer, basketball, tennis, dance, golf, swim, gymnastics, and musical theater. After which, we had definitive proof that I was not an athletically gifted child.  

​I never got to show her otherwise because she died of lung cancer when I was nine. 

​Her death started me toward a life-long goal to prevent others from suffering like she had and a slight desire to be somewhat athletically competent.   

​Happy Plot Twist: It turns out I’m actually pretty competent. 

​As an adult I’ve discovered through pole fitness that I’m actually not completely incapable of keeping track of my limbs!! Look Mom, I even won a gold medal for my thoughtful, philosophical piece as the homicidal grandmother-eating crab from Moana.  

​The good people of Fly Together Fitness are kindly helping me combine my love for pole fitness with my desire to fight against cancer by hosting a Pole Dance for a Cause event! Please join me for a 1 hour Intro to Pole class where all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) to help lobby politicians to pass legislation and advance policy changes to save more lives from cancer.  

​No pole experience or fitness level required!!  

​Registration for an Intro to Pole class normally retails at $30 but please pay as you want and are able! I will send you registration payment information once your spot is confirmed in the class.
