🚀 How to Host Explosive Workshops with 30+ Participants
Hey, we love your work! Can you deliver a session at our conference? We’ll have 70+ people attending.
Yes*, I’m keen!
*gulp
That’s the exact challenge I had!
I LOVE (and felt extremely comfortable) hosting group workshops and sessions for small groups.
I knew which activities worked, and how to spark discussions.
Then, I started receiving requests to host sessions for larger groups: In conference halls, ballrooms, and at golf courses!
That was great but suddenly my approach had to change.
I discovered the more people you have in a room, the less chance you have of someone standing up, grabbing a microphone and sharing their response.
My content still worked but my approach to scaling my message, and making people feel comfortable to speak up, had to shift.
Larger groups require a different approach
You know that small group workshops offer a level of intimacy and interaction that's hard to match in a larger setting.
When it comes to hosting large group workshops, engaging participants and creating a safe, supportive environment becomes a whole new challenge.
How can you create a space where every participant feels seen, heard, and valued, even with 30 or more people in the room?
The good news is that a well-hosted workshop can spark conversations that scale, bringing people together and creating new possibilities for growth and change.
