6pm: Discussion with the founder and CEO of Writing.io, Kevin Fleming.
Kevin is the founder and CEO of Writing.io, an award-winning platform that accelerates adoption of artificial intelligence through industry-leading education, secure playgrounds, and a suite of powerful tools. With an extensive background in building early-stage companies, software development, and machine learning, Kevin is incredibly passionate about helping others discover and leverage the power of AI and the latest generation of large language models.
Fireside chat with Mark Ryczek, Market President Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company, a Wintrust Community Bank.
Mark is what Seb calls the “unconventional banker.” Perhaps this is due to his entrepreneurial background in addition to finance. Mark became a banker in 2004 but was an entrepreneur well before a banker. And his first investment came in 2009 with a Chicago startup called BabbaCo, a year later Gary Vaynerhuck and his brother AJ became investors and added BabbaCo to their list of clients. This was huge for BabbaCo, and taught Mark a ton about life as an investor. Today he is the Market President at one of the fastest growing community banks in the country and key part of their growth in Florida. He was relocated to Naples from Chicago in 2019 and is very active in the community along with his volunteering as board chair elect with the YMCA of Collier County.
Sprint Design results presentation by JC Duchaine, CEO of appcom, an application development studio actively involved in our community. JC generously offered a prize worth $10 000 in our April edition, which was won by Crew Up, a startup building an innovative platform designed to transform the way cinema producers and crews work together. JC is flying in from Montreal to discuss the outcomes of this project and the impact to the business.
Charity Donation: we will have a special guest from a local SWFL charity receiving a donation made possible by the paid admission of Naples Tech Meetups - you!

Naples Tech Meetups: 3 simple rules

Our objective is to help foster entrepreneurship and innovation in SWFL. We believe in community and synergy, to help existing and aspiring entrepreneurs build great companies from SWFL to the world.
2. Be Generous
We all have our businesses and projects to promote, but arrive to this group with an open mind and an objective to give to the community, first. Then magic happens.
3. Southern Hospitality
Be hospitable the Southern way. That's something that attracted many of us to relocate to our beautiful paradise of SWFL. Let's keep ourselves courteous, respectful, constructive with each other.
