2nd Sydney Hardware Meetup @ The Onset | Funding
The Global Hardware Meetup community and the Australian Creative Electronics Society (ACES) are excited to announce our second Hardware Meetup in Sydney!
Join us at The Onset to showcase, witness and chat all things consumer hardware, robotics, deep tech, and startups. Everyone is welcome.

You'll have 2 mins during the Community Open Mic to demo a prototype or talk about what you are working on. We're looking for prototypes, finished products, and part samples from the hardware on your desks.

Narek Vardanyan is a serial founder, author, and keynote speaker. He is the Founder & CEO of marketing agency The Crowdfunding Formula and Prelaunch.com, a platform designed to help brands gather reliable insights for their innovative concepts. Through his ecosystem of companies, Narek has supported the launch of thousands of innovations into global markets.
Iddo Sternberg is the Co-Founder of Jellop, the marketing machine behind the best Kickstarters with 6,500+ successful projects with over $1.4B raised between them. In March 2023, Jellop was named Kickstarter’s first official advertising partner.
Kirstin Hunter is the CEO of Birchal, Australia's leading equity crowdfunding platform. She was previously MD of Techstars & CEO of Future Super. A trusted mentor, investor and advisor, Kirstin is at the nucleus of venture building in Australia.
Saron Berhane is the lead of Foundry at Blackbird, one of Australia's largest hardware investors. Prior to Blackbird, Saron co-founded Scaflow, creating complex 3D tissue structures for food and healthcare applications and BioScout, building reventative disease management tech for farms.
