TRE Community Conference 22-24 September 2025
Join us for the chance to talk with the people who are building the next generation of research infrastructure for sensitive data.
The need for federated analysis has been discussed for several years, but now it's happening for real in the UK and Europe! Several projects are building and testing technologies and organisational structures for a federated TRE network.
This conference will be an opportunity to review what we've collectively achieved so far, and to discuss how to deal with the many barriers that still exist. We'll be covering all aspects of TREs, ranging from the very low level technical implementation details, through how we reduce the fragmentation of TRE information governance, to the public perceptions of TREs and the importance of being transparent and open. As always we'll have plenty of time for breakout discussions and informal networking.
Practical details
This conference will be hybrid, starting around lunchtime on Monday 22 September and ending around lunchtime on Wednesday 24 September. We hope this will allow as many people people as possible to travel to and from the conference without taking additional days off, though if you have free time the city of Leeds is a wonderful place to spend a few extra days!
The conference is free to attend, and lunches and dinners are included thanks to our sponsors DARE UK.
