βCome join us on May 22nd at The Sandbox in Pacific Beach as we celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day in style! This event is the perfect way to enjoy a fun day out while learning about Bitcoin and enjoying FREE pizza for all attendees! π
βIt's been 15 years since May 22, 2010, when Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoin worth $41 at the time. Today, 10,000 bitcoin buys a lot more than two pizzas!
βWe think that's a big deal. So in partnership with our friends at PizzaDAO, Unlock Protocol, and Octant we are throwing our biggest Global Pizza Party yet! We're expecting well over 15,000 total attendees across more than 175 cities worldwide who celebrate the annual global pizza party!
