Sip & Play - Paper Cut-Out Art
Join us for an evening of creative play “drawing with scissors” inspired by Henri Matisse.
We are bringing back our popular paper cut-out art event at a new location! This time we will be meeting in the heart of Abbot Kinney at MoDa Studios. We will gather in their beautiful back patio, enjoy sips and light bites as we create art together.
The evening will begin with some guided exercises using bold colored construction paper to explore forms and the movement of shapes inspired by Henri Matisse. And then dive into free creative play, working on our own pieces. We will end the evening sharing our creations, mingling and making new friends.
Designed for beginners, artists and perfect for anyone who is looking to explore a new medium in a fun and creative environment. If you have been meaning to slow down and delight yourself in the act of making, this is for you!
*Included: Art materials + wine/non-alcoholic bevvy + lite bites
All art materials are included. However, feel free to bring your own drawing pad or other dry art materials to work with.
ps. The event is solo-friendly, everyone will be seated at communal tables, perfect for meeting new people!
