About Event

Celebrate The Open Book Company's One Year Birthday.

Timing: The retreat will be four hours with built-in breaks. Join us for 30 minutes for one topic you're interested in specifically or stay the full four hours! A finalized agenda + confirmed agenda will be provided before the event so you can plan accordingly and join what sections you'd like. Come and go as your schedule allows.

What You'll Get From This Experience: As a writer or aspiring author, you'll...

  • walk away from the retreat with some new tools and mindset techniques

  • hear from a variety of authors on different writing journeys — one traditionally published, one self-published and two currently working on their manuscripts.

  • have some dedicated time for yourself and your writing built into your day

  • do some reflecting on your writing practice and intentions for the coming year.

  • gain ideas and inspiration for marketing as an author

  • join a low-pressure and supportive group of humans
