About Event

There's more than meets the eye when it comes to going beyond the status quo for the best possible dental health for your pet.

If you have ever wondered:

  • How often should you brush your dog’s teeth and why?

  • What causes smelly breath and tooth decay in dogs?

  • Can dental care can affect your dog’s behavior?

  • What options do you have when it comes to dental health?

Then you should join Petminded on April 22nd to learn all about your dog’s dental health, and how to optimize it.

Our speaker is Dr. Emily Stein, Ph.D. who is a microbiologist with deep expertise in infection and inflammatory disease. She is the founder of Teef, and inventor of biofilm-based technology that leverages bacteria and their behaviors to our advantage, resulting in improved outcomes on health. Dr. Stein earned her B.S. in microbiology and immunology from the University of Iowa and her Ph.D. in microbial biology from the University of California at Berkeley. She then spent 7 years at Stanford University as a Medical Research Fellow in Rheumatology and Immunology.
