​Whether you're working on an artistic endeavour, tinkering with a technical passion project, or brainstorming your next big entrepreneurial idea, this is the place to be.

​Or if you are interested in starting a passion project or creative endeavour of any shape or form, this is your chance!

​Some snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own as well!

​6:00 PM: Init Collect. - who we are, and what we are working on

​6:15 PM: 50min Deep Work block 1 - work independently or collaborate with others, followed up by a 10min break.

​7:15 PM: 50min Deep Work block 2 - work independently or collaborate with others, followed up by a 10min break.

​8:15 PM: Demos and Closing - share with everyone what you've accomplished in the deep work sessions.

​Why is this event being held?

​Our community is full of incredibly creative and brilliant individuals, many of whom spend considerable time working independently side by side in cafes and on campus. While we occasionally share what we're working on, there is a lack of intentional community focused on this vital aspect of our lives. Collect. seeks to create a space that builds this community, and fosters deeper collaboration that might not naturally emerge within the current environment in Halifax.

​Should I come if I don't have a project I am actively working?

​Yes! If you do not have a passion project, or idea you are working on currently, Collect. offers the right atmosphere for getting the ball rolling. Come brainstorm, collaborate, and take the first step to starting that passion project you've always wanted to pursue.

​Do I have to Demo?

​Absolutely not, if you would like to share what you've accomplished that is fantastic and highly encouraged. But there is no requirement or pressure for you to demo.
