Install Nature Exploration Area
Volunteer to install a Nature Exploration Area. Be prepared to physically work hard: digging, removing ice plant, moving and placing logs, sanding, grinding, drilling. You will be given directions onsite. Due to the use of chainsaws onsite, children are unable to help, but we're working on finding an opportunity for them to contribute, too!
What to Bring and Wear:
You will need to sign a waiver to participate.
Water bottle.
All necessary tools, supplies, gloves, and training will be provided. Bring your own gloves if you have a pair you like.
Wear comfortable work clothes, long pants, and sturdy shoes or boots (NO shorts, flip flops, heels, or sandals).
Please be prepared to get dirty and dress in layers for various weather conditions.
Bring a hat and wear sunscreen.
