​Bio's:
Peter Lorant joined Zendesk in 2020 as the company’s first Chief Operating Officer in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his role, Lorant is a key architect for Zendesk’s growth in the region, leading the company’s go-to-market strategy and operations. 

​Prior to Zendesk, Lorant was International COO at Workday, covering EMEA, Asia Pacific and Japan markets. With more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and operations, he has also held roles at market leading companies including Google, Business Objects, IBM as well as starting-up his own company. He has a strong track record in helping companies of all sizes scale their international operations, build entirely new SaaS partner ecosystems, open new markets, launch new products and build world-class distributed teams. 

​Lorant has an MBA from City University of London, and holds a BA degree in Economics & International Relations from University of Toronto. Reflective of his global mindset, Lorant was born in London, grew up in Canada, and has travelled to over 65 countries.

​Deepak Jayaraman is global business development leader and strategist with 15+ years experience building partnerships and executing innovation and investment mandates across North America, Europe, MENA and Southeast Asia for the likes of Goldman Sachs, True.Global and others. Deepak is a graduate of Columbia Business School & London Business School and the The George Washington University Law School.
