About Prof. Anil Seth
Prof. Seth is the Director of the Sussex Centre for Consciousness Science, Co-Director of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) Program on Brain, Mind, and Consciousness, and Lead Scientist of the Dreamachine Project. His best-selling book, Being You: A New Science of Consciousness, has reshaped global discussions on perception, self-awareness, and the future of AI.
His work has been featured in TED Talks, BBC, The Guardian, The Economist, and Vice. In 2024, Prospect Magazine named him one of the Top 25 Global Thinkers, and he was awarded the Royal Society Michael Faraday Prize for making complex science accessible.
