Use case 1 - Tan Aik Keong (Using data in the Malaysia EV landscape)

Tan Aik Keong is a technology entrepreneur with a passion for digital transformation. He founded Agmo Studio in 2012, growing it from a team of three to over 200 employees, serving Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Tan specializes in digital transformation strategy, project management, and technical development in mobile and blockchain technologies. He also founded the Mobile App Developer Association, providing free training to university students. Additionally, Tan advises startups, speaks at tech events, and is a council member for the national digital economy, a MaGIC Program Mentor, and a member of the MDEC Talent Expert Network.

Use case 2 - Angeline Sheah (Integrating data for Sound Decision-Making)

Angeline Seah, Chief Product Officer at Virtualtech Frontier (VTF), hails from Melaka and brings a go-getter attitude shaped by a Westernized upbringing. She played a key role in launching Shopee Supermarket and has consulted on major projects in Singapore and Malaysia. With over 8 years in the tech industry, Angeline also served as an Associate Director for the United Nations Global Compact for two years, where she advised tech companies on sustainable strategies to initiate their ESG journeys. At VTF, she leads her team in creating innovative solutions, using data to guide research and ensure commercial viability.

Use case 3 - Peter Kua (Leveraging Data and AI for Competitive Edge)

Peter Kua is the cofounder of Growth Pro, a data science consulting and training company. His responsibilities include finding ways data can be used as a competitive advantage as well as identifying new business opportunities with data. Previously, Peter led the data science team at REV Media Group (formerly Media Prima Digital), Malaysia, where he made significant contributions to their digital transformation journey. He was also instrumental in driving the National Big Data Analytics Initiative under the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) in the areas of thought leadership and industry development. Peter’s core professional strengths include AI and big data strategies, software engineering, and project management. His industry experience includes the e-commerce, media, internet, manufacturing, FMCG, e-learning, and agriculture (palm oil).
