Final LSR Guidance is Coming – What to Expect & How to Collect Carbon Removals Data

HowGood's Research team is leading a technical session to discuss potential changes to be expected from the finalization of the GHG Protocol's Land Sector and Removals (LSR) Guidance. We will present our findings from modeling the methodological choices allowed under LSR draft guidance using our database, the largest global collection of food crop and ingredient impacts. The breadth and depth of our database uncovered interesting and at times unexpected findings for the various methodological choices. After presenting our findings, we will invite the group to discuss what you’ve found in pursuing FLAG target setting, and what the finalization of LSR Guidance may mean for your company.
HowGood's technical partner Yard Stick, a on-farm carbon removals measurement platform, will also present a streamlined approach to engaging your supply chain to measure carbon removals. This discussion will include what their team and yours have encountered capturing removals data.
