Blended Finance for Nature Restoration
Join Brittany Salas from nyxc and Nature Tech Collective for an overview of blended finance for restoration. The session will cover the landscape of climate finance beyond voluntary credit markets with an analysis of private sector incentives for nature restoration.
Discover how to leverage innovative financial mechanisms for nature restoration and unlock new revenue streams for your project portfolio.
The workshop will be led by nyxc (pronounced nix-see). The marketplace and risk management software is for lenders that want to finance the climate transition. The platform simplifies underwriting, automates loan servicing, and identifies lending opportunities that are good for the environment.
Prior to founding nyxc, Brittany built a consumer mobile app for conservation finance with three thousand active users. Before that, she launched a Berlin-based corporate innovation platform where she helped energy suppliers invest in and pilot with climate startups. Brittany began her career in policy advocacy at the city level, first for the implementation of worker cooperatives as a new economic development model and later for Smart City technology to improve public utilities. She has a Master’s in Global Affairs with a focus on Energy Policy and a Bachelor’s in International Political Economy and Philosophy (double major).
