​Astral Recess: Sound + Meditation

​Astral Recess is a guided sound + meditation experience with a focus on deep relaxation. Each session is accompanied by original compositions featuring curated sound design with consideration for highly sensitive individuals. The original music is enhanced by the use of overtone emitting instruments. We encourage and practice diaphragmatic breathing throughout the session. In unison with the spatial audio and sub-bass-centered speaker set up this will provide a rejuvenating and powerful experience for participants.

​Timothy is a musician and recording artist from NYC. He is a world travelled performer, singer, songwriter and producer. As a touring keyboardist and vocalist with Gym Class Heroes he has toured and or performed with The Roots, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, T-Pain and more. Timothy is an RIAA certified gold featured artist for his work on Travie McCoys “Lazarus” album and is a composer of innovative ambient sounds.

​Timothy founded Astral Recess LLC in 2017. Astral Recess is dedicated to enriching the lives of highly sensitive individuals and the ASD community through sound and meditation.

We utilize music – including spatial, sub-bass-centered, and organic instrumentation – along with breathwork, meditation, art, plant care and adaptogenic, nutritional foods + beverages to cultivate kindness—both physical and spiritual.
