🌐 Meetup - DERs & Microgrids

​Come to 9Zero for a casual gathering of folks working on, or curious about, distributed energy resources (DERs) like solar, battery storage, virtual power plants, demand response, and microgrids, and how they shape the future of decentralized power.

​Whether you’re designing resilient systems, or just starting to learn how DERs can enable energy equity and climate resilience, you’re welcome.

​The goal for this first meeting is to get to know one another, share ideas, and build community with others passionate about the technical and practical side of distributed energy. Here’s the rough agenda:

​Project Share - Eric Bastoul will share lessons from designing and deploying microgrids and solar + battery systems around the world (from hospitals in Sierra Leone to commercial-scale PV + BESS in California). He’ll touch on design challenges, modeling tools, and what’s exciting in the DER space today.

​🛠️ Small Group Chats -what technologies are you experimenting with? Where are you getting stuck? What trends or partnerships are you tracking?
