Wondering what the Farcaster Frames hype is about? Ready to build on Base? Join the Singapore Base Frames Hackathon to find out.
As consumer web3 matures, decentralized social is emerging as one of the fastest growing verticals where users own their own identity and social graph, and developers are not beholden to gated platforms. New innovations like Frames are making it easier and more delightful for users to get onchain and on decentralized social apps every day.
In this one-day hackathon, you will learn to build a Farcaster Frame on Base, benefiting from layer 2 low gas fees and transaction speeds. Get together with fellow hackers and be part of onchain history this April in the vibrant city of Singapore.

⚙️ Prerequisites
You will need the following before entering the event
Discord Account
you will need to join our private discord channel to onboard, register your team, and connect with other hackers!
Self Custodial Wallet (Coinbase Wallet preferred, but not required)
you will need a wallet to be able to receive an event NFT, which will be used to claim swags during the event and more!
Farcaster Account
you will need a Farcaster account to build the frames and participate the hackathon.
Please join base discord and you will be added to our dedicated channel #singapore-frames-hackathon after your registration request is approved.
Once you join the channel, please follow the instructions to onboard and prepare for the day
