About the Speaker: Meisong Yan - Reservoir Engineer Enovate Ai
With over 20 years of experience, Meisong is a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer in Petroleum Engineering, bringing a wealth of knowledge to data-driven asset development, M&A, divestiture, and CCUS. Her expertise spans from PE-backed ventures to major E&P operators, and her accomplishments include publishing one book (Fueling Through the Pandemic: Reflections on the Oil and Gas Industry in 2020), authoring 5 SPE papers, holding a UK patent, and filling two pending US patent applications. Recently, Elsevier published the book on Geothermal Energy Engineering that she co-authored.
Meisong is also passionate about fostering diversity and inclusion, serving as a committee member at the Data Science and Engineering Analytics Technical Section within the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and volunteering with various organizations.
Meisong received her bachelor degree from East China University of Science and Technology and her master degree from Texas Tech, both in Chemical Engineering.
