Oil Painting Class - Live Model (Figure)
Calling all aspiring painters! Welcome to Artskool, a curated oil painting class popping up in Echo Park for August 2025.

🎨 In this 3 hour oil painting class we'll be painting a figure seated, with a lovely live model. We'll go over composition, sketching, painting in layers, color mixing, and how to use all the materials provided. I'll walk you through every step of the way.
👩🏽🎨 You'll learn the techniques of the Renaissance Masters as we create our very own masterpieces in the style of traditional realism. This is a great way to learn how to use oil paints and can serve as a jumping off point to develop your own unique style.
🖼️ By the end of our time together you'll have a beautiful painting to take home with you!
🖌️ No experience necessary, all supplies are provided (including aprons!)

We are located a few stores down from Eightfold Coffee in Echo Park. Please budget extra time to find parking.

About your instructor
Tanya has been working in film and advertising as an illustrator and storyboard artist for over 10 years. She studied oil painting at various studios in LA and Florence, Italy. Her goal is to share her love of painting with anyone who’s willing to try!

**CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY**
By registering for this event, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following cancellation and refund policy:
Cancellation Requirements
Participants must provide written notice of cancellation via email to hello@artskoolbox.com no less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled commencement time of the event to be eligible for a refund.
Refund Eligibility
**Timely Cancellation**: Participants who cancel in accordance with the 48-hour advance notice requirement shall receive a full refund of registration fees paid.
**Late Cancellation**: Participants who fail to provide the required 48-hour advance notice shall forfeit all registration fees paid and will not be eligible for any refund.
Final Sale Period
All registrations are considered final and non-refundable within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled event start time.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed on the same business day the cancellation request is received. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method and may take seven to ten (7-10) business days to appear on the participant's account statement, depending on the policies of the financial institution.
Agreement to Terms
By completing registration and payment for this event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this cancellation and refund policy in its entirety.
