About Event

You're invited to ClimateHack Amsterdam!

The toughest climate challenges require breakthrough solutions. From next-gen carbon removal to advanced materials, precision fermentation to fusion energy, deeptech is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in climate innovation. But scaling these technologies is a different challenge altogether—long R&D cycles, capital-intensive development, and regulatory hurdles can stall even the most promising solutions.

So, how do climate deeptech startups go from moonshot ideas to real-world impact? Join us for a deep dive into the landscape of climate-focused deeptech, where leading Netherlands-based founders and investors dive into:

  • 🔬 The biggest opportunities and bottlenecks in climate deeptech

  • 🚀 How startups can bridge the gap from R&D to commercialization

  • 💰 Funding deeptech: navigating capital-intensive innovation

  • ⚡ Lessons from founders who’ve scaled deeptech solutions

  • 🌎 Why deeptech is critical to solving the climate crisis

If you're building, investing in, or curious about the future of deeptech in climate, this is the event to connect with the ecosystem driving transformative change.

About the Venue:

BigCircle Ventures scouts promising deeptech and turns this into successful startups that tackle the world's climate and circularity challenges. How? Many promising inventions stay untouched on a shelf, hidden in a university, research institute or company lab. We collaborate with these parties to create startups based on their inventions. This way, we bring a unique flow of early stage cleantech innovations to the market, to accelerate the transition to a net zero and circular world.

About the Organizer:

ClimateHack is a community-driven platform that inspires, highlights and connects climatetech entrepreneurs and innovators. With meetups across the globe, a weekly climatetech industry newsletter, weekly reports on climatetech, and an annual summit.

The event is free but registration is necessary.
Please cancel if you do not plan to attend.
