For this session, we welcome Mark Tan, Managing Partner of Finesse Ventures.
In this workshop, expect to learn about how to think about your fundraising strategy, resources/tools to utilize depending on each startup stage, and other valuable pieces of advice.

Managing Partner, Finesse Ventures | フィネス・ベンチャーズ株式会社 マネージング・パートナー
ニュージーランド出身。東京大学大学院を首席で卒業後、三菱東京UFJ銀行でテクノロジー・セクターにおける大企業取引の業務に従事。その後、三菱UFJモルガン・スタンレー証券の投資銀行部門でテレコム・メディア・テクノロジー業界の担当チームの一員として、5年に亘り、東京及びニューヨークのオフィスで複数のIPO及びM&A案件を執行。2019年上旬にフィネス・ベンチャーズを立ち上げ、テクノロジー企業に累計10社以上、 ファンドオブファンズの位置づけでVCファンド2社に出資。出資後、取締役CFOや社外取締役としてハンズオンで支援。
Mark leads the investment and financial strategy at Finesse Ventures with a portfolio of over 10 early-mid stage venture companies and fund-to-fund investments.
He has held positions in the Investment Banking Division at Mitsubishi UFJ, Morgan Stanley in Tokyo and Morgan Stanley in New York, where he executed M&A and capital market transactions for global TMT clients. He started his career as a commercial banker with the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ.
He served as valedictorian at the Graduate School of Economics at the University of Tokyo in 2011, where he attained his Masters in Economics.
